Alberto
Brizolara, M.D. is a board-certified interventional cardiologist. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami, after which he completed a Cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute and St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston,
Texas, where he was the Chief Interventional Cardiology Fellow. He has broad additional experience in many other areas of medicine and is the recipient of numerous awards.
Dr. Brizolara is active in cardiology research and has published in numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Texas Heart Institute Society. He is proficient in Spanish and Portuguese, in addition to English. He will begin practice at Snow Canyon Clinic in July, 2003.
