Neurologist (4)

Neuromuscular neurology: Seeking a BC/BE neurologist who has completed a formal fellowship in neuromuscular medicine, with certification; or one who is certified in Clinical Neurophysiology (with emphasis in EMG), or the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM). This is a full time position available immediately. Snow Canyon Clinic owns EMG, EEG, sleep and other electrodiagnostic equipment, as well as an imaging center (Philips 1.5 T MRI, PET-CT, US, DEXA, XR), infusion labs, clinical labs and a diversity of other services. Stroke/Vascular neurology: Seeking a BC/BE neurologist who has completed formal fellowship training in stroke or vascular neurology; or one who has considerable experience and interest in this subspecialty of neurology. This is a full time position. Snow Canyon Clinic owns an imaging center with MRI, US, PET-CT, CT and a diversity of other cababilities. Your equipment needs will be met. Strong generalists: Seeking one or more BC/BE neurology generalists who may have special skills in chronic pain, migraine, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis. This is a full time position. Neurologist, Sleep Disorders: Seeking a BC/BE neurologist with certification in sleep disorders. This neurologist may practice epileptology, and he/she may also practice general neurology. This is a full time position. Snow Canyon Clinic owns an imaging center with MRI, US, PET-CT, CT and a diversity of other cababilities, including sleep labs. Your equipment needs will be met. Cardiologists (2): Seeking two BC/BE non-interventional cardiologists. A candidate may be an invasive but non-interventional cardiologist, or may be a non-invasive cardiologist. These are full time positions. Snow Canyon Clinic owns an imaging center with MRI, US, PET-CT, CT and a diversity of other cababilities, including sleep labs. The Clinic seeks cardiologists having skills and certification in nuclear cardiology, TEE (as well as TTE), tilt table, and cardiac CT/MRI/PET. The above is in addition to the usual cardiology testing that is office based; e.g., stress testing. Suberb clinical decision making skills expected. No one applicant needs all of the above training/expertise/skills; but we are seeking a combination of physicians that will utilize the Clinic's office based equipment as it exists. Further, your equipment/space needs will be met. The Clinic does not presently have a cath lab, but will build such a lab, to the cardiologists specifications, in the event that the cardiologist wishes to do diagnostic catheterization in the Clinic as opposed to the hospital. This community has a serious shortage in community based cardiologists, and this will represent a superb opportunity for the right persons. Pulmonary Medicine

Pulmonary Physician: Seeking a BC/BE pulmonary physician with certification in sleep disorders. This physician may be certified (eligible) in both general and critical pulmonary medicine, but this clinic's greatest interest is for one who no longer has the personal requirement of undertaking a heavy critical care responsibility. This community is in greatest need for community based pulmonary physicians, having excellent clinical decision making skills. This is a full time position. Snow Canyon Clinic owns PFT equipment, sleep labs, and an imaging center with MRI, US, PET-CT, CT, DEXA, XR and a diversity of other cababilities. Further, your equipment/space needs will be met. Oncologists, Hematologist/Oncologists: Seeking BC/BE oncologists or hematologist/oncologists. Urgent need in this underserved area. Clinic has state of the art infusion lab, and will make such modifications, if any, that the successful candidates require. Snow Canyon Clinic owns an imaging center with MRI, US, PET-CT, CT, XR, and DEXA, plus PFT equipment, sleep labs, and a diversity of other cababilities. Clinic has the distinction of owning the first PET-CT in the State of Utah (Philips double gantry), and will be advincing technology to "time of flight" PET and 64 slice (and later 256 slice) CT technology. With successful medical oncology recruiting Clinic will implement radiation oncology services. Your equipment and space needs will be met. Gastroenterologists: Seeking two BC/BE gastroenterologists. Urgent need in this underserved area. Presently, there are no gastroenterologists at Snow Canyon Clinic; nor have there ever have been. Thus, the first successful candidate will participate in designing and implementing his/her equipment and space needs. We have sophisticated endoscopy lab architectural plans, but we will likely use a consulting service as well in order to guarantee immediate certification. Snow Canyon Clinic owns an imaging center with MRI, US, PET-CT, CT, XR, and DEXA, plus PFT equipment, sleep labs, and a diversity of other cababilities. Clinic has the distinction of owning the first PET-CT in the State of Utah (Philips double gantry), and will be advincing technology to "time of flight" PET and 64 slice (and later 256 slice) CT technology. Nuclear equipment will be acquired for your needs (e.g., HIDA). We will need your advice and help because, as stated above, we have not yet included this specialty in our Center.
